Anyhoo, I was going to send an e-mail to Kiki, Jen, and E2K just now, but I decided to just post it here instead.

I found some patterns that I really like, and I don't even have to buy yarn for them. I love this cardigan and I want to make it in my new chocolate brown GGH Samoa. I'm planning to make this cardigan out of my black Cascade Fixation Bulky that I bought from Little Knits a while back. This is another pattern for a cardigan that I like, but I haven't picked out a yarn for it yet. Maybe Manos...

I ordered Fleece artist Sea wool Sock Yarn and Italian Silk. The colors I bought are Hercules (out of stock) and Gold respectively. Both of them came today and I'm in love. The Seawool feels very soft, but strong enough for socks. It's like Merino Tencel. If you're Jen you already saw these yarns.

Hey Jen, thanks for introducing me to the sewn bind off. It's working great and you were right - it does make a nice edge that looks like my cast on. The very best part about it, though, is that when i'm finished binding off, my darning needle is right there in my hand! That means I can weave in my ends right away!

Today was a wonderful day to sit by the pool and knit in my swimsuit:
